One of the most common questions we get at Humphreys Dance Studio is:
“Do I need a partner?”
The answer is simple: No.
In fact, many of our students attend classes on their own.
Some join because they want to learn a new skill.
Some want to meet new people.
Others are looking for a fun hobby, a little exercise, or simply a reason to get out of the house one evening each week.
Our classes are designed to be welcoming and beginner-friendly, and we regularly rotate partners during class so everyone has the opportunity to learn and dance.
Many people arrive at their first class feeling nervous.
A few weeks later they’re chatting with new friends, staying for social dances and wondering why they didn’t start years ago.
One of the things we’re most proud of at Humphreys is the friendly community that has grown around our classes.
Whether you’re interested in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, New Vogue or Social Dancing, you’ll always find a warm welcome waiting for you.
If you’ve been thinking about coming along, or you know someone who has been talking about learning to dance, now is a great time to start.
We’d love to see you on the dance floor soon.
