Enjoy a fantastic mix of Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue, plus Salsa, West Coast Swing, Tango and plenty of fun Progressive and Line Dances throughout the evening.

Did you know that one of the BEST ways to improve your dancing is simply to get out on the dance floor and enjoy some social dancing? 💃🕺

Many students attend classes regularly but never quite take the next step of coming along to a social evening – and that’s where your dancing can really start to come together!

Our monthly Humphreys Social Dance Evenings are designed to be a warm, relaxed and friendly environment for dancers of ALL levels.

Come along and:
✨ Practise the steps and dances you’ve learned in class
✨ Build confidence on the dance floor
✨ Meet other dancers and make new friends
✨ Enjoy dancing with familiar faces
✨ Put your dancing into practice in a relaxed social setting
✨ Enjoy three hours of great music and dancing!

You don’t need to be an experienced dancer to join in. Beginners are always welcome, and many people come along on their own. Our friendly regular dancers help make everyone feel comfortable and included.

Whether you’re relatively new to dancing or have been attending classes for years, our Friday Socials are a wonderful way to build confidence, practise your dancing and simply enjoy being out on the dance floor.

I started attending Jacky’s salsa classes last year. I had never salsa’d in my life so it was going to be something new and totally different for me. I am now attending the advanced course, which tells you somthing – I love it! It is a great way to unwind from a busy week plus it is really social ( I have met some really amazing and wonderful people through the class) Jacky is a wonderful teacher. She explains the movements and steps in a step by step manner which means that everyone can understand. The thing that keeps me going back – it is fun, relaxed and entertaining. Dancing needs to be fun so take it from me.. it is!

I first came to Humphreys Studio less than 2years ago to learn Salsa. I was new to WA and needed an excuse to meet people and get some exercise. Other than a few years of ballet as a child I had no previous dance experience and was more than a little hesitant to come and give it a go on my own. Luckily, Jacky talked me into it and now I practically live in the studio! In less than 2 years I have gone onto enrol in Modern, Latin, Argentine Tango and of course Salsa classes. I am enrolled in medal classes, performed in a Salsa floorshow and have just started competing in ballroom competitions! What can I say, it becomes addictive! More than that, I have met some amazing people. The teachers are fantastic and I have improved so much more than I would have thought possible. I recommend everybody interested in dancing to give Humprhey’s a go, you never know what you can go on to achieve!
