Enjoy the elegance, music and wonderful social atmosphere of New Vogue dancing at Humphreys Dance Studio.

Join experienced instructor Todd Annetts, together with our friendly regular dancers and teacher assistants, as we learn the beautiful Swing Waltz over three Friday evenings.

Whether you’re already a New Vogue dancer or would simply like to discover this uniquely Australian style of Ballroom dancing, you’ll receive plenty of friendly guidance and practice along the way.

It’s a wonderful style for developing timing, technique, confidence and partnering skills – and, most importantly, enjoying your dancing in a relaxed and social environment.

New Vogue dances are enjoyed at social dance venues throughout Perth and feature regularly at our own Humphreys Dance Party Nights, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to put what you’ve learned into practice.

Our New Vogue group is known for being particularly friendly and welcoming, and new dancers are always made to feel at home.

I started attending Jacky’s salsa classes last year. I had never salsa’d in my life so it was going to be something new and totally different for me. I am now attending the advanced course, which tells you somthing – I love it! It is a great way to unwind from a busy week plus it is really social ( I have met some really amazing and wonderful people through the class) Jacky is a wonderful teacher. She explains the movements and steps in a step by step manner which means that everyone can understand. The thing that keeps me going back – it is fun, relaxed and entertaining. Dancing needs to be fun so take it from me.. it is!

I first came to Humphreys Studio less than 2years ago to learn Salsa. I was new to WA and needed an excuse to meet people and get some exercise. Other than a few years of ballet as a child I had no previous dance experience and was more than a little hesitant to come and give it a go on my own. Luckily, Jacky talked me into it and now I practically live in the studio! In less than 2 years I have gone onto enrol in Modern, Latin, Argentine Tango and of course Salsa classes. I am enrolled in medal classes, performed in a Salsa floorshow and have just started competing in ballroom competitions! What can I say, it becomes addictive! More than that, I have met some amazing people. The teachers are fantastic and I have improved so much more than I would have thought possible. I recommend everybody interested in dancing to give Humprhey’s a go, you never know what you can go on to achieve!
