Turning Professional at 18, Debbie-Anne’s commitment to dance has always been at the highest level. Her career included competing, demonstrating, adjudicating and teaching nationally and internationally. After becoming an Australian Professional Rising Star Champion she retired from competition to focus on family and teaching.
Debbie-Anne is currently a Co-Principal of Humphreys Dance Studio and Co-Principal of the Humphreys Dance Schools Program. The Schools Program operates throughout the metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia teaching on average 1000 students each week. This program also offers dance scholarships to promising students who wish to further their dancing knowledge.
Her highly successful Saturday Kids Classes offer general dancing and medal classes for children aged from 4 years to teens. Several former students from these classes currently enjoy successful dancing and teaching careers and are a testament to the quality of dance tuition offered in these classes.
An accomplished professional, Debbie-Anne enjoys teaching all ages be it a social dancer, medallist or bridal couple. She is competent in all styles and has a natural gift for choreography.
